It should be a fantabulous evening indeed! The film will not have sound, but instead act as a backdrop to the fantastical wanderings and sounds of Pink Floyd’s groundbreaking album. The band will then end the set with more Grateful Dead hits as The Wizard of Oz plays behind them.
The apex of the evening will be the beginning of set 2 when the band will play The Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety while we screen the Wizard of Oz behind them! Not to fear, we will make sure they start on the second roar of the lion. The first set will be a set of Grateful Dead Hits. The Charleston Music Hall is excited to announce Cosmic Charlie’s Dark Side of the Dead: A Fusion of The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, & The Wizard of Oz on Friday, November 1 st at 8pm.
